4 Day Port Nellie Juan

Day 1

Arrive in Whittier
Pack gear into dry bags
Get fitted for kayaks
Water taxi to Litehouse Point
Paddle into McClure Bay, exploring the remains of an 1800's cannery
Make camp

Day 2

Break camp
Paddle to Derickson Bay, exploring the staggering coastline of Port Nellie Juan
Make camp on Deericksin Spit in front of Nellie Juan Glacier

Day 3

Break camp (optional)
Paddle or hike, depending on the tide, into Deerickson Lagoon to see the awesome power of Nellie Juan Glacier up close and personal

Day 4

Paddle to the only white sand beach in Prince William Sound.
Take a hike to the granite domes nicknamed "Little Yosemite"

This trip concludes with an afternoon water taxi back to Whittier.
